Consultations are offered in both our Westlake and Cedar Park locations. These consultations last about an hour. In that time you will have the opportunity to meet with Dr. Hall, a skilled and experienced Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Dr. Hall has been working with Hair Restoration patients for many years and provides a customized approach to each of his consultations. You can expect to gain more knowledge about hair loss patterns and the methods available for minimizing hair loss and restoring the appearance of fuller, healthier hair. These methods include both Medical Management options and Hair Restoration Surgery.

So, what are Medical Management Options? These are hair restoration methods used to maintain the hair you currently have and make it as thick and as healthy as it can be. For some patients, these methods are enough to create the healthy hair they are seeking. For others, this is a way to ensure further hair loss is minimized and hair restoration surgery results are maximized. Dr. Hall will discuss the Medical Management treatment options that have become a standard of care, including Help Hair oral supplements, Low Level Light Therapy, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), and Exoflo.

How do I know if Hair Restoration Surgery is right for me? Dr. Hall will conduct a full evaluation, including an assessment of your donor site to determine the number of grafts available for use, along with a discussion of the desired improvement and placement of the grafts. With Dr. Hall’s help, you will discuss your hair goals and determine if a hair grafting procedure is the right choice for you. Dr. Hall will educate you about how the Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) method works and how the follicles are harvested. After that you can expect to learn about results, recovery and risks associated with this type of surgery. You will be given a quote based on the number of grafts needed and will have an opportunity to schedule your procedure while in our office.
